Ed grew up
in the middle of the Naturalist movement, which means, in short,
that he and his family were nudists. So nudity, as Ed was growing up, was nothing
unusual, and in fact he may have gotten a better grasp of anatomy at an earlier age
than most children because of this. He began drawing erotic art, like most young
male artists, in his teens, though he didn't produce anything on a professional level
until he began painting sexy aliens and mythical creatures for science fiction and
fantasy conventions in the Seventies. His artwork, and his erotica in particular,
became quite popular all up and down the West Coast convention scene.

Since then, most of his erotic art has been done as commissions for private
collectors, though he did do the artwork and conceptual design for the graphic
novel Dreamwalk, which was written by his lady Kishma Danielle, who also
enjoys writing and drawing erotica.

Ed does upon occasion still accept erotic art commissions, but due to his
sometimes hectic schedule, the subject matter must appeal to him to spark his
inspiration. Such are the whims of his muse!

Much of the art featured in these pages are preliminary sketches and designs for
paintings which went off to their respective owners before good photos could be
taken. If you own one of Ed's original pieces of art, or know of someone who
does, we would love to have good photographs or scans of them for display here.
Just email us and let us know, and we'll be happy to give the collector a "Courtesy
Of" credit on the page where the art appears.
