Ed Kline The Costumer
Ed has been involved in amateur costuming since the early sixties, mostly for science
fiction and fantasy conventions. He has created many costumes, for others as well
as for himself, using a combination of leathercraft and facial prosthetics, and topping
them off with his props and other machined details.
Perhaps his best known costume is a character named Eeon, the old
anthropomorphic horse pictured above, who has undergone many revisions in his
long career. Eeon was a regular fixture at many science fiction and fantasy
conventions up and down the West Coast (and even once in Georgia!) for the
better part of three decades. He has retired now, but still puts in the occasional
appearance.
