Ed is building an uber chemistry set. He's always had a fascination for chemistry sets
since he received his first Gilbert Chemistry set in the early 60's. He took a look at today's chemistry sets and was amazed at the pansie-ness of all of them! Ultra-safe and most teach little to no interesting chemistry. Nothing to truly inspire a child to follow a life of science.
So, in response to his disappointment, he has decided -- with help from his darling
sweetheart Kishma (who unbeknownst to him until now has also always loved chemistry sets!) -- to build his own version of a chemistry set.
You can see the beginnings of what he'll be building here. He's starting out with
building his own bunsen burner. As he progresses, updates will be posted here. So far we have photos of the bunsen burner and the fuel tank that powers it.
